We invite you to take part in the public discussion Trbovlje in Europe: The Future of Education and Culture, which will take place on Wednesday 24 November 2021 at 6 p.m. in the theatre hall of the Delavski dom Trbovlje. The conversation is aimed to discuss the state of culture and education in the municipality of Trbovlje. The event is organized by the Municipality of Trbovlje, the Tone Seliškar Trbovlje Library, the Delavski dom Trbovlje, the Zasavska ljudska univerza and the Zavod za mladino in šport Trbovlje.

Representatives of local institutions from the above mentioned fields (education and culture) will discuss the current situation, possible opportunities and the help that is needed or is lacking - from the European Union - with Tanja Fajon, Member of the European Parliament, Jasna Gabrič, Member of the European Committee of the Regions, and the local community.

The interested public will be able to attend the discussion "live" or by joining "remotely", via ZOOM, and contribute their own opinions and suggestions. The debate will be broadcast live via the organizer’s website. All presentations, ideas and suggestions will be forwarded to the European Committee of the Regions and used for further planning the development in the field of culture and education in the municipality of Trbovlje.
