On Monday, 23 May 2022, at 6 p.m., we invite you to the Symbiosis of Science and Arts event: Connecting the Scientific and Cultural Sector organized by VTIS Association, which will take place at the premises of SCCA-Ljubljana (Project Room, Metelkova 6, 1000 Ljubljana).

Intermedia artist Valerie Wolf Gang will begin the event by presenting her intermedia installation, The Beautiful Face of Artificial Intelligence, for which she has developed a digital mirror in co-production with KIBLA2LAB.

We will continue with the thematic talk on integrating the scientific and cultural sector; activities at the intersection of science and art, with Dr Maša Jazbec from DDTlab and Žiga Pavlovič from KIBLA2LAB as participants. Together with the researcher Marina Klemenčič and Valerie Wolf Gang, they will discuss the possibilities of cooperation between two different methodological approaches and how these two industries can complement each other. Guests will share their experience on activities and views on intra-sectoral integration and support in exploring and promoting innovative ideas that open up new research possibilities and practical implications. Finally, they will focus on performance in the field of integration of the cultural and medical sectors, the field of robotics development, artificial intelligence, and contemporary XR technologies in the research and work phase of scientists. The talk will be moderated by Simon Pribac.
