We are developing a system with small devices – LoRa transmitters, which would enable the network to communicate with smartphones in the Nuba Mountains. Such a system would make it simpler for them to communicate in their daily lives and serve as an effective means in dangerous circumstances. Such a communication system would also allow monitoring for the dosing of anti-leprosy drugs. So, it's about setting up a communication network without the internet, only by using smartphones.

Applicability: enabling telecommunications infrastructure for areas that are difficult to access.
